What we do

Chailey Clinical Services provide a safe, nurturing and comfortable environment for the children and young people they support. 

The experienced team at Chailey Clinical Services design and deliver care plans tailored to each patient's core needs to enrich their lives and help them reach their full potential.

 

Our services

The multidisciplinary team of nurses, occupational therapists, paediatricians, physiotherapists, psychologists, rehabilitation engineers, speech and language therapists, healthcare assistants, clinical scientists, pharmacists and dietitians offer six highly specialised, community-based services for children and young people across Sussex, South East England and the UK:

  • Clinical support to the pupils and residents of Chailey Heritage Foundation
  • Bluebells Short Breaks – overnight stays for children and young adults
  • Outpatient clinics led by the multidisciplinary team

  • Rehabilitation Engineering Service - engineering solutions to enable patients to undertake activities safely and independently
  • Communication Aid Service – provision of high-tech communication aids for spoken communication between children and adults with complex needs
  • Rehabilitation and Transition Service - post-acute assessment and intensive rehabilitation following life-changing events
